SOUTHERN REGION DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD

Nominations are accepted throughout the year.

PURPOSE
The SPI Southern Region Distinguished Service Award is designed to recognize exceptional individual service to the plastics industry by SPI members or past members from the South in a meaningful way.

CRITERIA
The recipient of the SPI Southern Region Distinguished Service Award will have benefitted the southern plastics industry or a specific industry segment through his or her efforts. Benefits solely to oneself or company will not be considered as qualifications for this service award.

There is no established area of endeavor that is favored for qualifying for the award, as all aspects of the plastics industry are to be considered. The exceptional achievement may involve: community involvement, technical, marketing, management, entrepreneurial or trade association activities. Any combination of the above that elevates a candidate above others will be considered. Specific examples, describing the individuals efforts must be listed on the nomination form.

NOMINATIONS
To nominate an individual for the SPI South Distinguished Service Award, complete all requested information in the nomination form. Nominees will then be asked to submit a list of specific examples of their efforts to promote the plastics industry in the South. Since the nominee is the one who is most able to provide detailed examples of his/her contribution.
